I'm Jason Tuttle, a lifelong Lenoir City Republican, and I've spent twenty years working on the kind of problems that don't make headlines but do make a difference. At LCUB I helped lead our rural broadband expansion — getting service out to the corners of this county that had been waiting a long time for it. I've served as a Loudon County Housing Authority Commissioner. Before that, two decades in public safety. None of that was political work. It was just work that needed doing for the people who live here.
These days I call myself semi-retired — though anyone who knows me will tell you I don't sit still. Since 2024 I've been helping manage the Dollar Tree next to Walmart here in Lenoir City, and we just opened a second store in the old Big Lots building behind Arby's on Highway 321. It's one of those stores where people shop because of the people — that's what our customers tell us — and I love our store, our people, our customers, and our community. Most days, if you want to find me, that's where I am. Come say hello.
I've also spent my career in technology, and I've kept at the books: a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University, a Master's in Information Systems Management, and certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. I don't lead with any of that, because letters after your name don't fix a road or hold a budget line. But when the county is looking at a contract, a bond schedule, or a data center proposal, I can read the numbers myself — and I'll show you the math rather than ask you to take my word for it.
As a Republican, I stand for limited government and putting our community first. I'm not a politician — I'm a problem solver who believes in listening to residents and delivering real solutions. Let's keep Loudon County thriving while protecting what makes it special.

Controlled Growth
Push for smart zoning to manage growth while preserving our rural charm. Ensure new developments support existing infrastructure. Population growth demands planning to avoid overcrowded schools and roads.
Transparency
Use tools like BidNet for fair bidding and make budgets fully public. Taxpayers deserve clarity after recent school funding and grant debates. Every dollar spent should be visible and justified.
Fiscal Responsibility
Block unnecessary tax hikes and focus spending on public safety, schools, and infrastructure. Families need relief, not higher taxes, in today's economy.
Safety & Sustainability
Fund law enforcement and emergency services while protecting our water and land. Growth requires safe communities and sustainable resources for the future.
Infrastructure First
With new housing and businesses booming, I'll ensure development doesn't outpace our roads, schools, or water systems. My LCUB broadband work proved I can balance progress with practicality.
Economic Relief
No tax hikes—my budget priorities will fund essentials like public safety and essential services without waste. Your family budget matters, and so should the county's.

The best thing you can do now is the same thing that decided this election: pay attention.
County commission meetings are open to the public, the agendas are posted ahead of time, and the packets are online. Most of what shapes this county — rezonings, annexations, bond schedules, budget amendments — passes in a room with very few people in it. Come sit in one. You'll be surprised what gets decided while nobody is looking.
And keep telling me what you think. A vote every four years is the smallest part of holding someone accountable. The bigger part is the phone call in between.
